I visited Fireflies Homestay for the 2025 new year with a group of friends for a get-together, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. As a local, I can confidently recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a enjoyable stay.
The food was truly exceptional, and the hospitality was top-notch. The owners were incredibly attentive and always readily available to assist with any of our needs. Their willingness to cater to our large group of 12 and to prepare akki rotti for us was especially appreciated.
The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and the friendly atmosphere made it a perfect setting for our get-together.

Our stay at Fireflies Homestay was nothing short of wonderful! Mr. Koushik and his wife were exceptional hosts who made us feel completely at home. Mrs. Koushik’s cooking skills deserve special mention—each meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, adding so much warmth to our experience. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and seemed newly constructed, ensuring maximum comfort. The homestay's location amidst their serene coffee plantation estate added a unique charm to our visit, providing a peaceful and scenic retreat. We highly recommend Fireflies Homestay to anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable stay.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Kowshik’s and Shiny‘s place! Thanks to their great hospitality we completely felt like home. Shiny‘s food is a 12 out of 10, and Kaushik is a great host we loved to spent time with! Check this place out if you’re looking for some time in the middle of a beautiful coffee estate and tranquillity. See you soon!

Amazing home stay experience be it is the courteous hosts Shiny and Koushik, Great ambience , excellent food, very clean and hygienic rooms, toilets , comfortable beds, camp fire, artistically decorated place with greenery etc etc etc. One can visit lot of nearby sight seeing places like iruppu falls and other temples, dubare elephant camp. Overall a great place to stay with your family or friends. My rating is 5.

After a lot of research to spend the new year 2024 at a private place. We found this magical place called Fireflies homestay at Kutta which is located at South Coorg very close to Irpu waterfalls and Nagarhole wildlife. The host Kaushik and his wife were amazing with their hospitality. The rooms were super clean and hygiene. Their food options and taste were mouth watering and provided campfire, BBQ with no additional cost. This is a must visit place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
